oh btw I had my numbers off just a bit. The true numbers are posted in my signature.

In leiu of what you said about how smooth your bike is running since the dyno tune I am now giving it some more thought as around town mine is a bit lumpy. Also due to the fact I have put off thoughts on serious engine work in the near future, therefore the dyno tune expense may not be wasted money.

Hey Mike, I think that your money will not be wasted. I had alot of hesitation in the 2400 range as my air/fuel about dropped off the chart around there. Before the tune I wasn't really smooth unless I kept the engine up around 3,000 rpm. Now I can cruise around at 2 and less very smoothly and I also have throttle for miles. I was hitting the rev limiter every time I started out in first gear. Now that its been bumped up to 6,200 rpms, I am not reaching the limiter before I feel the need to shift, I usually wind 1st out to about 53-54k before shifting. Also the tone of my pipes is greatly improved no sputter just a nice growl!

Ok so it does not look as cool but you know if this seat was dry you would rather park your ass here than on the stocker!

Yup! Thats the one. I liked it better than the chrome one and it seems to be easier to access when sitting on the bike. I keep my keys and smokes and registration in there and thats bout it. I learned the hard way with my heritage about soft sided toolbags. I put a fork mount one on it and loaded it with tools and got a nice ding in my front fender when it bottomed out on the tool bag. I learned my lesson the hardway. The chrome one might be better for tools since you won't have to open it as much or while your on the bike, but this is better for pulling over on the side of the road, remaining seated and just reachin into to grab a smoke and a lighter.

Scott,

I have ordered one from Chicago Harley & they tell me I need a spacer kit if I have rear foot pegs, how did you go?

Cheers [smiley=drink.gif]

Well now that I have the rear pegs installed on the bike I can tell you that I did require a longer bolt to go in the peg. I happened to have one that worked laying in my tool box. I think it was a stock one for the rear of a 1200 custom sporty..........but it worked fine.
