Hello all, I recenly acquired 2000 fltrse from the wife of a friend that has passed away. I always like his bike and she wanted one of his friends to have it. Im treating it like a restoration at this point. Not that it needs anything....95% original ( tires not) and very clean.
I usually lean towards older bikes. Im an AMCA member. Presently I have a 1966 FLH recently restored, a 1975 titled fxe but is dressed like an FLH owned since 1983 and my "NEW" bike is a 2003 anniversary ultra classic owned since new.
So now I've added a black orange and white to the stable. Not something I would have sought out but but am extremely happy to have in my friends memory. I cant see myself selling it. Heck, I havent even had it on the road yet. Replacing fluids, rubber and tires before i take it out. Better safe than sorry. Only 235 miles were put on it since 2011. Theres a good chance this bike will make it to Sturgis if nkt this year then soon.
Thanks DonIII
