Speaker upgrade
« on: May 09, 2012, 07:00:04 PM »

I am looking to upgrade the speakers in the fairing, has anyone done this?   Looking for better sound and more volume since adding my pipes.  Second question, has anyone put speakers in the saddlebags?

Sorry the only results I found via search were for the larger touring bikes, if you know of a thread I would greatly appreciate it.

I am looking to see which after market speakers others have used. I ask looking at the Polk series speakers to replace the current ones.  Also had thoughts of doing some in the saddlebags.

Saw it somewhere else on the site but someone used the FiiO E5 Headphone Amplifier. Here's a link off Amazon:

Since I got the bike , am actually satisfied with the volume & quality yet , I didn't install loud pipes so I will see then how this will affect the volume

I was thinking the same thing. The speakers put out enough volume.. they just lack on the low end pretty badly. Any luck finding replacements? Let me know what you find. I have a 2012 CVO Convertible in Abyss Blue.
