Trans fluid top off q

Need to top off transmission fluid (on jiffy stand dip stick screwed in, redline fluid).

Level us just below bottom line, before i do a trial and error fill, would any seasoned wrencher have an idea on how much fluid to top it off?

Would it be best to run on the low side with the hot temps here in central Texas?

Only took 1 or 2 oz to top off!
