Clutch - HELP! (SOLVED)
« on: August 03, 2019, 03:47:58 PM »

Sorted - after much web searching I found that the third small friction disc goes on on the inside - immediately after the judder spring.  You have to wonder how HD can make errors like that in a manual.

My clutch pack is NOT what the manual describes.  I have 7 large steel plates and 1 small steel plate, and THREE small friction plates, not the two the FLHTKSE manual says.

Sounds like it has a Barnett clutch in it.  They usually replace the floater spring plate with an extra disc and plate.

No, OEM clutch it came with.  I had a different clutch fitted, going back to the OEM one, which is why I'm struggling with the order of the plates.
