Clutch recommendations
« on: August 06, 2019, 10:56:14 PM »

I have an 03 serk that I had head work and new cams done. It now has 128 tq and 107 hp. Went to pass the other day,  dropped into 4th and twisted it up. About 3200 rpm I felt the clutch slip. Looking for clutch recommendations.
Am I able to just put different frictions and steels in it ?
TIA

I've had good luck with the Barnett extra disc clutch kits especially if I also ran the heavy duty clutch spring with it.  That's what I currently run in my 92 127.

Called Barnett today.  They recommended their scorpion clutch. I asked about the extra disc set up, and he was telling me I would still have issues.  Is this correct,  or were they going for the up-sell ?

If you just did the extra disc I wouldn't be surprise if it didn't hold.  I've always run the HD spring with it and never had a problem with that combination.
