Does anyone have this problem with there Boom Audio Radio and Nav??? When I do a few hour ride my Radio Controls freeze, maps on Nav fade out and freeze then after a while the radio restarts with the Harley emblem coming back up then I have to accept again as you do when you first start the bike!?!?! I have the latest update on my radio, the Harley Dealer updated it last week 06/14/18. This usually happens after 5-6 hours after riding. I'd appreciate it if anyone can give me some feedback on this as I am taking my 2017 CVO Ultra in for a 10K this coming Wednesday 6/20/18.

Sounds like a problem with the update or it did not load correctly. Would ask the dealer to reflash to radio and/or check to see if there are known issues with the last update.

This is exactly the problem that I have been putting up with. I have a 2016 CVO Limited. I put her in the shop last week. The dealership called and said that they are replacing the infotainment center.

I had it in for a 10k Wednesday and they ordered me a new radio too! Thanks

Let's hope this works. I'm not too happy about things failing on this bike. Had to replace the instrument pkg last month.

Just got a call from the shop. They've replaced the radio and the problem is still present. Now they want to replace the GPS antennae. Losing faith.

Part changers versus diagnosticians. Even in the computer age when the diagnostics are computerized and lead the tech by the nose, we still have more part changers than true technicians. You might want to consider looking for another shop, you don't have to go to the place where you bought the bike, the warranty is good at any dealership.
Good luck.

I'm just wondering how they think the GPS antenna is affecting the AM and FM section? Completely separate areas inside the InfoPainment center.

There is no GPS antennae, it's part of the Sirius XM.

I think you are trying to say the following;
The Sirius XM requires an antenna and it's part of the upgrade kit.
The Navigation has the GPS receiver built into the radio.

Thank you! Yes I meant, no external gps antenna.
