I couldn't find the C3 Pro at a decent price in the U.S. no one discounts this helmet. In the U.S. prices range 680 to 880.
I found one in Norway for 440 with free shipping. European helmets are ECE certified adopted by over 50 countries. U. S. Used DOT. Anyway it's a perfect fit at a good price. I never had a Full Face Helmet before, I have to pull outwards on the straps to get it on and off. Once it's on its perfect fit. Going for a Ride now.

Did you shop online? The C3 basic can be had from various sources for well under $400. For example:
Similarly, the C3 Pro can be had for well under $500.
The C4 is now out with models starting around $550 but going up to around $850 depending upon what you want.

I got two of the C3 Pro's and really like how silent they are. (I still use earplugs)

I have 3 Schuberths all from Europe. They cost less and weigh less. Bought all 3 on Ebay

I did a lot of searching online and I could not find it for cheap. I did see it for low price but it was a XSmall. I guess they couldn't sell it so they lowered the price.
The helmet fits Fine back to front but I have to pull on the straps to widen it to put helmet on and off. Once it's on its fine. Is this normal?

Yeah, it's normal. I have to spread mine to get it over my ears/sunglasses. I think that's what gives it a great fit. I've had mine for many years and love it. I would get another when the time comes.

I bought my C3 Pro 2 years ago, also from Europe, liked the Schuberth helmet so much more coming from a Nolan N43Air that I also purchased the MI a 3/4 version recently, I had J&M headsets installed in both.

Well I have put a lot of miles this helmet and I really like it. It's comfortable and doesn't have as near as much wind noise coming from around my windshield. The pull down shade is nice as is the chin peice that flips up making it easy to talk to someone or getting a drink. My only complaint is its a pain putting it on and taking it off. It fits Fine once on but it have to pull on straps to widen it

I have to do that with both of the full face helmets and the 3/4 helmets I've ever had. Some noticeably more than others but all at least a little bit. My head is much fatter in the middle than at the bottom. It's my head's fault.

I have one of these as well. Only problem with it is exhaust drone. The helmet itself is quite quiet, but if you have aftermarket exhaust be prepared for the drone... and the lack of hearing your sound system very well. It muffles the audio coming from my CVO SG. I have a simpson that is a little more noise friendly

Have a C-3 and a 3/4 M-1 with the Bluetooth add-on. Both great helmets. Looking hard at the C-4 but just can't bring myself to part with $1100 for C-4 with the SRC system right now.

A buddy of mine got the German C4 and he says its far superior to his C3 Pro that he also got in Germany. Sounds like it is worth the extra money. Cant imagine anything more important to spend money on..

I am also a C3 Pro helmet fan. It is by far the best helmet I have ever owned.
You probably already know this...but always put the chin bar up before putting the helmet on or taking it off.
That being said, I still do the spread when putting it on and off.
Small price to pay for the comfort and quiet this helmet gives.

I had one of the first Bell Stars in '72 and every helmet I have had since then required me to "spread" it to push over my fat head. I do think that different brands have different shapes. I like the looks of the Schuberts and the fact they are much cheaper, but the Shoei Modulars fit my head much better.
Several places have Pro 3's around $450 online per Google in the US.

Stopped at the Schuberth booth in Sturgis and they haven't seen the C4 in the US yet. I was hoping to try one on. They say the shipping is just starting for over here. Just have to wait.

I have seen C3 Pro Modular Helmet, the only ones I saw that were for sale was the XS and Small helmets that were not sell because it is not a popular size for people that ride. They apparently wanted to get rid of some stock.

I received my C4 this week, it is very tight getting on but once on feels really comfortable. It came from Italy, took about 6 weeks to come in. I paid 680. Revzilla has it for 850.

Really good looking lid! I have exclusively worn Schuberth for many years and have always got them online from Europe. They cost less and are lighter, sometimes considerably depending on model not to mention you can always get new models much earlier then in the US. Been wearing the SR2 since October and love it!

I will probably add the sc1 and the sena freewire to use the pre installed mic and speakers and be able to use it wirelessly.

by exhaust drone, do you mean a high pitched tone? I've had that with the last 2 full face helmets I've owned. I don't hear it when I wear a 1/2 helmet or even a 3/4.

My wife asked me why do o wear a helmet? She said my head is hard as Brick.

I bought one this summer for the ride to Sturgis. After breaking it in and wearing, I can't go back to the 1/2 helmet. No buffeting, low noise, can listen to my music through the Sena 20S mounted to it. I love my C3 Pro.
My son got a Shoei. When he put it on and rode with it the first time, comparing to a less expensive Full face, he said "Wow, this is so quiet! He said he can actually here his Bluetooth now so he can listen to his favorite Pod Cast while riding.
