2010 110 engine has small oil leak on front jug-head. anyone seen this or know what i may need to do. most likely a gasket? not pouring just damp.

Probably just a gasket, might as well replace them on both heads while you’ve got the tank off. I’d go ahead and replace the breathers and install rocker lockers too. You’ll need torque extensions (or dog bones as I call them, but someone on here corrected me about that) also do yourself a favor and grind down an old socket to where just the bolt head sits in it, that'll make torquing the bolts a lot easier as there is very little room in there due to the backbone.

ok guys! thanks! just commited to purchase the bike and wanted to be sure i was thinking rational and not emotional.

Exactly where on the head is the leak? Between the head and jug ? Under the exhaust to head/port area ? Rocker box to head ? I would check further to pin point the exact area. Could be more than a gasket.

Had the same problem on my rear cylinder before 117 conversion. Head and cylinder needed surfacing. Did the glass trick with sandpaper glued to it for head correction. then replaced the cylinder with 117 big bore kit from harley. Still shakes rattles and rolls 32k later.

If you haven't removed the head yet, remove the rocker box and push rods. Put an air fitting in the spark plug hole, and hook up your air line(be sure the trans. is in neutral). That should verify your leak.
