My wife doesn't like the backrest that came with my bike. Any ideas on a different backrest? BTW, I have to keep my wife.

Are you still using the stock seat?  If so the one that keeps it is really the only thing that's a good visual match.  And all the "small" backrests seem to do about the same.

You can mount one of the large king tour pak's backrests on the lid of the chopped back.  At least to my eye it looks funny though.

Probably want to decide first (if you haven't already) what your intentions are with the stock seat.  If you're going to change it then look to see what the backrest options are that work well and look right with what you pick for a seat.

I am still using the stock seat. I thought I may add a higher bar and use the small pad. But, it is still a small pad.

I added a tall HD bar with the wide curved back rest for the all day rides, we use a leather SAC bag over the back rest so you can't see the pattern on the back rest anyway.
Its all about comfort for the wife and thats what see liked on the RK.

I wouldn't do anything till you decide on the seat.  How many miles do you have on the seat?  I put 2500 on in the past 30 days, and the seat still makes my tail bone feel like it is working its way up my spine.  Have a Corbin dual tourer on rebuild, am hoping that will give me a touring seat that still has a nice sporty look.

Why take the easy road?  I prefer to come
to a stop slidin' in sidways, hangin' on
for dear life, just so I am able to say;
"Man what a ride!"

Hmmmmm

Is that a Striker rebuild or a Corbin rebuild?
If Corbin, what kind of timeframe and cost?
