Broken "butterfly bracket" in throttle body
« on: August 20, 2008, 10:10:07 PM »

I took my bike into the shop for it's 20K service and a high idle problem. Later shop calls me to tell me the "butterfly bracket" inside the throttle body is broken. I go look at it for myself and can't beleive what I see. Has this happened to anyone else? If not am I just "heavy with the right wrist" and abusing the throttle with as a buddy of mine suggested? I know this much I got lucky it didn't break off while I was riding!!!!! Thanks for the input.
