K&N Air Filter
« on: April 18, 2006, 09:38:08 AM »

Are K&N air filters available for the SEEG's...???

I'm going through these paper filters pretty often...they get really dirty quick, probably the color, but also I'm not digging the inconsistent paper gauge throughout the element. Hold it up the the light, and I see varying density...

phattey,

Do you have the stock air cleaner, or the Screamin' Eagle backplate and round filter?

HD1499 is for use WITH the stock backing plate. I have the SE one, thus I need a different K&N element than 1499...

Phatty;
As GRC posted you'll need the HD-0800 for the SE filter.

  Does anyone know what Distributor's are currently stocking the "new K&N rk-3909" kit.

 A friend is trying to locate this kit for his Street Glide.
