New bike delivery
« on: January 01, 2016, 08:26:45 AM »

Ok I order a 2016 black licorice and cobalt flames back in August when Harley introduced them. My Dealer has told me it was shipping on Dec 25th (yea right) that was the paperwork they got from Harley. I called them last week for an update, and they said. They haven't heard anything from Harley yet, WTF? Surely Harley has a Customer Service Department the Dealer could call right? I work for a large Manufacturer and if you order something from any of our Plants I can tell you exactly when it would ship. Harley is a modern day Company surely they have the same processes?

I could not tell where you are but:  You need a different dealer.  There are plenty of bikes out there.

That dealer is tooling you.  The dealers can look at the status of upcoming bike deliveries to see when a bike is expected.  Are you in the U.S.?

I only ordered 1 bike, 09 RKC Turquoise / Antique White, in Nov of 08 and the dealer was able to keep track of it. and when it was delivered the first week of January 09 they called to let me know it was being unloaded from the truck than invited me in to take part of un crating it, truly Christmas all over again.

In Sept of 2014 I left a deposit on a 2015 Hard Candy CVO SG. That dealer had different colors coming in and eventually placed an order for the hard candy color I was looking for, I was given a January/Feb delivery guesstimate. I was patient until late April and purchased it locally at another dealer. Good luck and keep us posted. Good things come to those who wait..... so they say.  :coolblue:

Glad it is there!  You could trailer it home so you can at least play with and sit on her!

Trailer it home!  I bought mine in December and they backed the trailer right up to my garage door and unloaded it!  It was nice to be able to see it whenever it wanted.....and the garage smelled like new bike!
