Title: Best bike Mod you've done?
Post by: kbh5150 on November 10, 2010, 12:59:07 PM
What's the best/favorite modification that you have done to your bike??  Change tire sizes, engine mod, different seat, changed handle bars, etc.

Not that I keep track of this stuff

but I've made over 100 mods/adds to my Switchblade in the 3 years I've owned it. The most satisfying and unique cosmetic mods were the bag lids done by a local leather artist. The best mechanical mod was the TC88 to 95 SE motor mods done by the first owner. Found out a few weeks ago that the work wasn't done that well but the performance improvement would have to be the most significant of any mechanical mod done.

I'm not much of a luggage guy but that is impressive!  :2vrolijk_21:  I need one of those back rests for mine! You have any contact info for the leather shop?

Put on a Corbin saddle and then had that redone with ostrich.  Also added the 12" mini apes.  Both were excellent mods.
