Title: 06-07 leather tour pack
Post by: Johnnie Nap on April 28, 2019, 10:09:44 AM
Looking for info on speaker pods for the 06-07 cvo ultra leather tour pack. Are they the same ones that fit on the king tour packs ? Does anyone have part numbers?

No they are not the same. Had to wait a year for Hawgtunes to develop a speaker to fit the shallow pod on my '06.

Good to know, just found a mint leather tour pack for my 09 Road Glide. Looks like something is missing without the speaker pods though and why not add a couple more speakers lol. I’m thinking I’ll have to check with the dealer to get the rite pods.

I agree that they look odd without speaker pods, even the king tour pak looks odd, like a box without pods. On my Teal '05 I build a king to go on long trips and added pods
with dummy speakers so it wouldn't look so funky. Before pods:

When I built the king pak for my Road Glide had to add pods also.  Just funky without.  Didn't do dummy speakers in the pods though.  Had them leather wrapped to match the saddle and they became little storage cubbies for the occasional BSR.
