Little Susie was playing outside when...

Little Susie was playing outside when she chased her ball that fell into the rose garden. She went to get the ball and in the process got pricked. So she runs home and asks her mother for a glass of cider.


"Why do you want a glass of cider?" Her mother asks.


"To take away the pain," sobs the little Susie


"What do you mean?" said the mother.


"Well," sobs little Susie, "I overheard my big sister say that whenever she has a prick in her hand, she can't wait to get it in cider."
