Title: New Bike
Post by: ladydeluxe on September 27, 2013, 05:14:44 PM
I picked up my new CVO Softail Deluxe Wednesday afternoon.  Haven't had the time to put many miles on it, hoping I'll have time on Sunday to ride.

Beautiful bike, congratulations to your wife.  I had a 2009 deluxe which I ended up putting heritage bars on because of the reach.  I currently have an 2011 Limited that I put the pull back bars on plus I have the super reduced reach seat, great ride I'm just tired of the weight.  Thanks for the information, sounds like your wife is really enjoying the new bike, I'm still trying to decide if I want to spend the money.

Thanks, it was your post talking about how much your wife was enjoying her new bike that helped me make up my mind.  Less then 150 miles but yes I'm enjoying the bike.

Thanks ladydeluxe for the update.

Both are great bikes, but that Deluxe is certainly a real head turner.

Enjoy!

Beautiful bike. Saw the red one on the showroom floor and it looks much better than the stock HD photos as usual. But I think the blue/white looks the best overall. Congrats.

That is one gorgeous bike, congratulations! Are you keeping it stock or do you plan to make some changes?

My plans right now is to keep it stock other then adding heat to the seat.  I have put a lot of money in all my past bikes and once everything was done would trade the bike in on next project.  My hope with this bike is not to make it a project bike just enjoy.  Of course we all now that plan can change at anytime.   ;D
