There's basically three viable options: One is on the handlebar like the '11 SERGU, using the HD kit; another company makes a bracket that mounts on top of the instrument pod; and another option is to remove one of the dash gauges and there is a kit that will allow use of the HD bracket that comes on the SEUC bikes. There are pics of all three on the site here, but I can't give you a reference point.
I personally am happy with the chrome handlebar mount on the left side.
A lot depends on to what extent you want to make it a "clean" install (no showing wires), and what functionality you want with regards to navigation prompts coming through the stereo system in one fashion or another. The simple way is to get a Techmount clamp/bracket, power it off the cigarette lighter, and run the output side to the AUX in on the radio. That's what we did in the "old days" back in '04 through '09 or so, before the NIM and decent HD mounts.
