What would be a good price on a 2005 FLSTFSE?
« on: February 19, 2009, 11:33:48 PM »

I'm trying to get my buddy into the CVO club and today we found a beautiful Two-Tone Electric Cherry / Vivid Black FLSTFSE with 3300 mi on it.  The bike looks new and he loves the way it feels.  I think the dealer quote may be a little high but don't have much experience at this.  I'm not sure if this question is kosher but I'll ask anyways.  What would be an OK price on this bike?  Thanks for the help.

Hi, Although I'm in Canada and the markets could be a little different, I searched all over North America when I was looking back in the fall. A mint 05 with such little miles always seemed to go between 18-19k. I found a mint one with 11000 miles for $17000. But in todays market, remember the Gold Rule, Whoever has Gold , Rules.

well,  my wife has the RED one.  (remember, the RED ones are faster, so may cost more) :huepfenlol2:

but she wouldn't part with hers for less then $75,000 (her words)

so, what is the dealer asking ????

this is true.   and have they been installed yet ?  will we get to see them in Daytona this year??

check prices on ebay.  see what they are getting for that model.  I would guess up to $19,000 would probably be fair.

Dennis I have not done anything with them yet. Waiting to see if Helen wants to keep the bike or not.
As for Daytona, I may come over for a day next week end but no firm plan as of now. If I do would like to meet up for some lunch Or dinner.

Not red but just to give you an idea. Besides "they" say this is the most desirable colour. Although I beg to differ.
