Before Trev Deeley...there was Fred
« on: November 24, 2020, 05:47:58 PM »

I think Fred was Trev's dad. Those of you that are Canadian will know that Trev Deeley had ALL things Harley pass through him for many years. Just fairly recently did he lose his monopoly.

I found that is a house built  from '38-'44 in the attic...I'm getting rid of some knob and tube wiring

I believe that the dealership in the ad was in Vanouver, BC

It's cool finding the old stuff. Ads and such. The Chevelle in the GM dealer in Nanaimo has the build sheet in it. I'm sure everyone says - shoulda...

Curious if the article has the date on it? Just a curiosity timeline versus price...

I think back in the monopoly days, Fred Deeley Imports had the stranglehold business in the Canadian market. Trev Deeley, his son, was the dealer owner in Vancouver.  [if I recall correctly...] Both long deceased...
