Arlen Ness backing plate broke

While tearing down Bessie for a blown head gasket, I found the Arlen Ness backing plate broken at the front cylinder mount.

Is there a replacement part number available or will the Harley chrome backing plate 29510-05 work as well?

That trying to keep up with Hubbard will get you everytime!

Be careful hanging with Harry, I can still remember when Bessie ran hard and fast!

And FYI, I sent AJ's heads to Tman to work with his 625 cams we got for his bike.

Chip glad I tore her down as far as I did.

Found a broke motor mount
A pair of wires that lead to the TP sensor that were broke. They have been broke long enough to have green corrosion completely covering the ends of the wires.
A broke backing plate on the breather
And a few minor other parts either loose or that need to be replaced in the name of safety.

We'll get her back together Chip, just your back, others are watching you :coolblue:
