"True Dual" for 09 Touring...

I ran across this ebay auction last night.  After reading it closely, it appears the seller has modified an 09 pipe to be a true dual setup.  I guess he connected the header pipes from each cylinder to the respective outlet pipe at the end of the collector and then put the collector back together to make it look stock. 
This would actually detract from performance, wouldn't it?

yes, it seems to me that this would yield less than optimum performance.

Based on the size of the x-over pipe alone I would say this is a bullchit mod to make to the stock system. Performance with this pipe will suffer. Also the seller's answer to the question about not needing any tuning changes with this pipe is BS. BUYER BEWARE!

I too saw that on e-bay.  Lookes like he ruined a perfectly good 96 inch pipe.

thats what i made yesterday with my pipe
Mufflers with 1.75 Cores from Fullsac
all together i got a great sound and 7.5 HP more :2vrolijk_21: :2vrolijk_21:
