Boom GTS USB Sound fluctuations
« on: September 01, 2019, 12:32:37 AM »

My BoomBox GTS on my 2019 CVO Ultra has fluctuating sound through the speakers, sometimes being at chosen volume level (say 8) and volume drops on its own to 2 or 3 for a few seconds, then back up to 8, happens now consistently to the point I have to turn it totally off.  Speed and road noise are consistent when this happens.  It doesn't fluctuate like this when the bike is stationary.  Does anyone else have a similar problem, or a solution?  Thanks!

Only until you get to the shop but try turning your AVC (automatic volume control) off in your stereo settings. But you are going to need to take it in for a permanent fix.

How is your USB drive connected to the head unit?  I assume from the title of the thread you're talking about using a USB drive.  I've had problems in the past with cables causing the issue you described, and it only occurred with the bike running down the road.  I assumed it was due to vibration, used a different cable and the problem was gone.

USB stick is connected directly to the USB in the Jukebox.  AVC is off.  Looks like service is in my future! Thanks!
