I have bought a total of 6 motorcycles..... 5 in the last 7 years.....which I feel makes me special. But I know that I am at the bottom of food chain.

Yes it was, people use to gawk when you went by them because the engine was so wide, but nothing sounded better then a CBX with a 6 into 1 open header!

I don't know about that, Serd. I heard one with 6, individual headers at Sturgis years ago and the dang thing sounded like stock car. Woke the place up when he reved it and got a few whoops and hollers when he cracked it open. I always thought that was the a great bike but never had the chance to own one.

Like Haird I too spent a lot of money on vehicles. Not only motorcycles but cars and boats as well. I believe this comes from being raised by my German grandparents who never drove or owned a vehicle. If we couldn't walk or ride a bicycle there was no going when I was raised.

I've bought very few when I think about it. I just don't trade bikes a lot and tend to buy one and keep it until its falling apart. Even then I tend to rebuild and keep riding it.

Hated worrying about other cars when I could ride fire trails and logging roads to my hearts content. And then I bought a Harley and all that changed! Like others have said, the list of cars is much longer!

Thru 2007 - 6 CVO's, 3 standard Harley's, 1 custom Harley, one Kawasaki, two Honda's.

Since the 2007 fiasco - zero.

I currently have two Harley's. One is 17 years old and one is 10 years old.

(*I would like to tell my dealer (from 2007) "I told you so, but you didn't believe me." But they have since sold the dealership.)

We are sharing the same State of residence........and I'm always glad to see posts from SBB, but you all can see here from what he just exposed..............SBB has some kind of "problem" regarding bikes and/or trailers.

What can be done to remedy his malady.............
