Here's my 2001 SERG problem:
Left headlight is dim and does not respond to high beam switch.
Right light is fine.
Changed bulb and still dim.
Where to I look to get bulb working properly?
Thanks

Assuming it's not just a flaky new bulb most common cause of a dimly lit headlight is a poor ground. Your bike's main harness inside the fairing has one headlight plug. Plugged in to that socket is a 1-2 pigtail that separates that single plug out to both bulbs. Check the main socket and the sockets in the pigtail.

Thanks Twolanerider, I switched the plug to opposite bulbs and sprayed some contact cleaner in the plugs. The light is working fine for now.
