It has been a while since you installed the fans, what do you think?

I can only tell you I am satisfied with them so far. I do have only dipstick temp. gauges so I can't really be too technical as to before and after. You can find extensive arguments as to which cooler works better on here and the hd forum. I don't feel the heat was excessive but  have a Fat Boy that runs much hotter and noticed a big difference especially at highway speeds. Yes the exhaust is more the culprit on it. What little readings I had before installing was 215-245. The bikes are too loud to hear the fans come on or off but when I stop and the temp. is 200-215 the fans are on so it is operating as stated. I like the looks and the performance so far. As with most parts there are various opinions as to how much it helps or not. If I can get any heat off considering what I have invested in engine work it is cheap insurance even at the price. I would make the same choice if I  were doing it again. FYI it is a little tight work but not a hard install. Also there's a disclaimer of it fitting with ABS on softail. I emailed the company and their answer was that the ABS pump is positioned where the cooler sits on the breakout but it does work on some CVO Softails. As I installed one on the Fat Boy first I was able to see it wasn't an issue. I don't know if the standard B.O. has the pump there or not.

How much was the Ultra Cool?
What engine mods have you done? Results?

I believe it was 479.00. The B.O. has the S.E. 110 kit and I have two bikes that have S.E. 103 Stage IV kits. The Fat Boy is the only one that seems to put off excessive heat.
