2013 cvo breakout rear number plate frame
« on: February 13, 2013, 02:41:36 PM »

i have a new cvo breakout in australia and due to our backward laws we can not have a number plate frame to the side, instead there is now a foot long hunk of plastic for the numberplate to sit on , this takes away the awsome look the ass end of the bike has , does anyone have any suggestions of how i can possibly change this as ive had no luck in sourcing any help.

You can put a side plate on but it has to be viewable from a 45 degree angle.

I am doing the same thing on my Canadian Breakout.  Check out the posts "Let the mods begin" and "Rear end cleaned up pics".
This was the reply to my question on replacing the inner support / plate bracket.
You need this.

I can buy this part from my Dealer (Prairie Harley-Davidson, Regina, Sask. Great People! ) Check with your dealer to see if they can get it.
Looks like the Kuryakin side mount plate is the way to go, mounts on the swingarm.
Good Luck.
