Love my SERG, but has Any one experienced strong gasoline fumes filling the garage after a warm shut down? I have noticed this several times after the bike has had few hours of riding. It gets extreme if the motor is good and warm. I haven't noticed any leakage and cannot seem to find the source. It has some effect from the warm engine and gas tank expansion?

I have had the same smell of fuel after a ride, But it does not do it all the time, So now I do not refuel before parking the bike, and it seems to help.   Doc

I've noticed it on the 08 but I haven't had the 09 long enough to have noticed it yet on it.  It is strong and I haven't been able to find any evidence of leaks anywhere.

Yup. Ona hot put up, I was guessing the etms rear cylinder shutdown was causing it.

I do not think I have smelled it yet, but when I fill up I still have a 20 mile ride home

I have noticed it on several bike when I filled up close to home on the return and since, I don't do it.

Have never had this...but then again I always fill up on the way out and not on the way in.

fill up or not i get it...
