Left with the wife Friday am to Faribault HD to get the bike checked over after putting 350 miles on the new motor. 
Checked out fine updating the tune (132hp/141trq), and had a new rear tire put on.   Had a great time up there both at the shop and downtown, very friendly people.  Came home today looking forward to a great ride tomorrow.

Metro, Silver Eagle, and Hawkeye Harley are three that are close here to me.  Great people and customer service.
Down fall is, none of the three tune with TTS.  Jason at Faribault HD has good reputation in doing so and has proved it to me
with the last two motors.  Couple more hours and will be heading out for a days ride

rode 300mi plus this weekend after changing these parts out. Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
first time bike has been gone in to with 36,500 on the odometer. worse thing I saw was the cam chain tensioner shoes.
cams and lifters showed some wear, no discoloration.


here’s to the next 40k.

I've been to McGrath in Coralville quite a few times and we stop at Silver Eagle on the way to the Mississippi river frequently. I also like Dubuque Harley. I deal with Ernie's in Algona. Closest to me and so far the best treatment.

Maybe hook up some time in the future to put a face to the names... You may know, McGrath is building a new store west of Theisens, and there is a rumor that it will be Iowa's largest dealership???   Also, had a great ride today, 100+ miles even though a little on the chilli side starting out, hitting a few bar/resturants keeping up with Sprint cup race.  Congrats to Dale Jr.
