Sunday my truck showed -25 degrees as we drove to Mpls for a Sunday School program for granddaughter.  I think that the coldest I've been in.

We were supposed to go to New Ulm, for Christmas, but my brother law so no to traveling in such cold conditions so everyone stayed home, which was fine with us, I needed to make sure our cattle had running water during the extreme cold.

One house we built I wanted a floor drain and found out they were not allowed.....I put one in the middle of the garage and spray foamed it in and poured right over it....after 'occupancy' was given tapped the concrete and dug the foam away.

The reason for no floor drain is that if gas were to leak under the slab you would have one giant bomb.     Billy

That is not the reason. (It might be your reason if you frequently have gas spills) but as far as reasoning for drains in residential areas that's not it.

Took the 17 Street glide for a short ride, have 7212 miles on her now.  Fly out to work this morning so, she will be sitting for 21 days.
