Picked up my rain sock for the extreme heavy breather yesterday.  I also ordered the fan assisted oil cooler for the Red Pepper.  Hope to get a short ride in after the dr visit this am.

I just installed the fan assisted oil cooler on mine over the weekend.    Pretty easy job!   I had the dealer flash it for the fan when I had it in there for the Headlight issue.   After that it set a Check engine Light for Cooling Fan Circuit Open (DTC 1693) but other than that was fine.    Then when I installed the fan she was good to go.

Nice to hear it was an easy job.  Hopefully not long and mine will arrive for me to install.

Sad but for $42k and a 117 motor should have came standard.

Agree, or you should have at least been able to just buy the fan like you could for 18.  But no the fan that fits the 18 does not work with the 19.

The 15 got New Sneakers - Michelin Commander III front and rear, Ohlin Cartridges for the Front Shocks, push button start for the starter, Mounted the 595 Zumo, D&D Exhaust, Fairing Switches to support the Moto Lights (Chrome) on Calipers (Hopefully these will go on early next week).

I'd been waiting to start this project this project for awhile now.  Wanted a couple of completely uninterrupted days.  That didn't happen, or hasn't happened, or something.  Anyway, today finally really got in to it.  Hopefully back together tomorrow.

My old Road Glide.  The bike that is the single most reliable, don't leak, always runs, just don't mess with because you don't fix it if it ain't broken bike I've ever had.  For the first time since 2008 I'm messing with the engine.

Top end is off, the gear drive and Mackie cams are out and stuck tape all over the inside of the cam chest late this afternoon.

Every time I use that little rotary cutter I'm pleasantly surprised by how clean a job it does.  Touched up the cutting bit before beginning today just to know it was sharp.  But the little bastard just does nice work.  I always emery paper the bottom lip of the lifter bores after using; just because I'm anal about it as much as anything.  The tool leaves nice clean edges though.  It would have been fine without my emery paper touch-ups.
