My bike has arrived at the dealership and I'm set to pick it up on Saturday. I hope the weather is OK and I'll put some miles in the clock and get a feel for it.
The dealer has sent me a picture of the bike as it was discharged from the transporter.
-
I hope the weather stays dry for you. Nothing better than the feeling you get picking up a new bike. Enjoy.

Hopefully you'll have a few weeks to ride it before winter arrives. The silver/maroon colour looks good.
-
Congrats - it looks GREAT! Here's wishing you a warm and dry day.
-
WoW Congrats on the new ride. :2vrolijk_21:

I love the colors. Looks great. Enjoy the ride home. Hope you get good weather. Do the new limiteds bikes have trim on the front Fender? Just thought I would ask. Stuart.
-
thanks for the encouragement Stuart.
I started a separate thread about the fender as I noticed that as well and the outcome from that thread was that the international models have the fender trims whilst the US models do not.

Very cool vinver! Hope the weather holds so you can get some riding time in. It's the same here in the northeast US right now - getting chilly, the riding season is about over. Good Luck!
-
Vinver,
Picked mine up 2 weeks ago. Same colour. Wait till you see it in real life. Photos just don't do it justice. Very happy with mine except having problems with AVC at present. This appears to be a common problem according to some of the threads within this forum. Safe riding and enjoy.

Congrats............
I noted the lack of a padded back rest for the passenger. Your thoughts?
BTW - Cheshire England - Is that close to Birmingham or Wolverhampton? I go there at least once per year on business.
RIDE ON........
-
Hi Harley Guy
Because the bike has not been prepped yet the back rest has not been put on as yet. When I take delivery that will all have been sorted.
Cheshire; not too far from Wolverhampton and/or Birmingham. Wolverhampton has a HD dealership although I do most of my shopping out of HD in Chester. Let me know when you are next due in UK.
Regards,
Vincent

Thanks - Will do............
I have been to the Wolverhampton HD dealership - shirt buying trip and to gawk at the bikes while on a business trip.
.

Congrats. I am a bit prejudiced but the is the nicest looking CVO this year. That Palladium Silver is very intriguing. I love mine

The weather here in TN has gotten to cool to ride lately. We are lucky to get a few more descent days. I fear the fall in England is just as damp and cold. On the other hand I recall riding my first new bike when it was 32 degrees F. Nice bike I hope the winter is not to long for you. ;D

You sure got that right... We had snow in Maine yesterday and with all the leaf fall the roads are hazardous on two wheels. Although chilly, I'm hoping it warms up enough to get a few more rides in before giving up for the long winter.

We had snow here too and I have never seen snow in Oct. Overnight lows in the thirties and high 50ish. i don't think I could do Maine. I wonder why anyone lives in the Dakotas? Yeh I know it's pretty in the summer, what's that july? :D I am originally from Florida so TN is pretty far north. How about you Vinver, what's like over across the pond?
-
winter is coming and it has become a lot colder in the last few days. what is worse is that our roads are covered in leaves and/or mud from the farm vehicles.
I managed 90 miles on Saturday but did not fancy taking it out on Sunday.
I suspect limited riding days until March next year.
-
Moved to Florida from the Catskill mountains of NY. We ride year round here in Florida, had to put on a jacket the other day. Only problem is how many miles you put on a bike in a year. Sometimes its good to have small problems.

Lucky sod!
Don't blame you though :2vrolijk_21:
