How about this fine art work.  Years ago they allowed tourists to place an item from their person on to this rock.  I am thinking we call it Hair Band!  Get it?   ;)

So much here but what I really want to know is…”What’s Behind the Green Door?”

Time to get out the cave and enjoy a few of the attractions within the park.  After all see the wristbands?  More fun on the way!

Jock your subject never ceases to amaze me.

While in Ouray a group of us were trying to decide where we were going to go that particular days (one of the great things about this GTG) and somebody said "I'm going with Jock....where ever he's going.....because he always finds weird, unusual and interesting stuff to see".  I remember my reply......yea, maybe I should go with him, too.  ;D

Time for the next one!  The Bat-a-Pult leaves from its roost high in the rafters of our Pavilion, launching you on an epic, 1,200-foot round-trip flight across Williams Canyon at speeds of nearly 40 mph.   :2vrolijk_21:

A little routine maintenance prior to the opening of the ride!  Ummmm…   :nervous:   ;)

My TURN!

The first of its kind anywhere in the world, the ride sits on the edge of a 200-foot cliff above Williams Canyon in Manitou Springs. The ride will be launched 150 feet into the canyon at nearly 100 miles per hour! The G-forces on this ride will knock you silly and the free-fall drop will have you laughing and praying for your life at the same time!

An awesome experience!   :)   :)   :)

The Cliff Dwellings Museum exhibits relocated Anasazi Indian cliff dwellings. The Anasazi lived and roamed the Four Corners area of the United States Southwest from 1200 B.C. to A.D. 1300.
