Title: S&S Super G Jetting problem?
Post by: ltank on April 16, 2020, 11:24:06 AM
I have a S&S V124 with a Super G carb. Bike never ran correctly. It had a 31 intermediate or slow jet, 78 main and a .040 air Bleed. I installed a RSR Air/Fuel meter, it was lean at 2800 to 3200 rpm and lean at 4100 rpm.
  I installed a 32 slow, a 82 main and a .060 air Bleed.
It's now pretty close. I did notice it seemed to speed up a little when running 4k rpm in 4th gear when I backed off the throttle? I am sure it happened, I don't want to damage motor to see if repeat the experience. The Air/Fuel reads good until it leans out above 4400 rpm. Help!

Put the 40 air bleed bac kin and try it. When you go up in the main to get more fuel it's counter productive to install a larger air bleed. It's like a hole in the straw.....you have to suck harder to get the drink out of the cup......put your finger over the hole and much more drink will enter your mouth with the same effort.
Go smaller air bleed for more fuel.
