Well I finally got mine! Rode it home from Fairbanks to Delta Junction and what a beautiful day made better of course by what I was riding! No pictures yet, but when we take it down through the Alaska Range I'll take the obligatory shot or two. Now, a couple of things. I've been a a Panhead and then Heritage rider for years so transitioning to the SE3 is going to take some getting used to. I still feel as though I'm sitting more forward, higher and have less a sense of control than what I did with the Heritage. That'll change in time. I've read some posts about the windshield and buffeting and I'm suffering from the same thing. I'm going to opt for a higher windshield at first opportunity. The heated handgrips aren't near hot enough in my humble opinion. The bike acts as though it's a little cold blooded when starting off from a light. I'll ride for awhile and take back to the dealer if this doesn't get any better. Other than that it's everything I hoped for. It's a beautiful ride and the only one in town. There are perhaps 6 or 8 in the entire state! As a side note, I bought this bike from Sound Harley-Davidson in Marysville, WA. I ordered the bike in November of last year and it arrived in Fairbanks the end of April. I can't begin to say enough about these guys and gals. This was probably the absolute best retail experience I have ever had. They treated us like you want to be treated and I would unhesitatingly recommend them to anyone looking for a new bike. Regards to all and I already posted to the new member site sometime ago.
