Title: Moco steps up on replacing my chrome
Post by: 08CVOSPRNGER on May 09, 2013, 03:01:57 PM
I got a 2008 cvo springer and the chrome had started flaking off on the timer cover. 1 phone call to Harley customer service and 2 emails later I was told to take it to the dealership.  Dealership looked at it and ordered a new one for me. Btw, my bike is out of Warranty and I'm the 2nd owner.

Count your blessings. I couldn't get some of the chrome replaced on mine within the warranty.

They knew it was older American chrome that shouldn't have flaked off... not the low-quality Chinese crap they put on bikes now!
