Hello , My wal mart has stop getting the good Microfiber cleaning towels went to a new type that suck . Is there a place i can order good ones ? I ve order Griots but cost to much , i like the good thick ones that you get one of when you buy -bug slide cleaner Thanks if you can tell me where to orders some

You're not going to find any the quality of the Griots... It's your paint, you paid a lot for it, buy what you like, but...just saying...

If I can't recommend Griot's to you, I've got nothin'.

How much is too much? Better start using some cheap-ass oil, low octane fuel, and Nu Finish wax on your CVO.

I get mine at Costco, yellow, nice and thick and last forever. When I wash them I wash them on the Sanitize cycle in our washing machine.

I am going to Costco today, I will see what brand they are as I haven't bought any for a long time.

Target sells two levels of microfiber towels in their automotive section. I buy the nicer ones, use them once on the bikes then wash them and use them for other chores. Reasonably priced.

I've got Microfiber towels of one sort of the other from all over the place, but once I discovered the Griot's Garage microfiber, there's no going back. The Blue and the Green ones are the thickest/softest...the Green are intended to be used with their Spray Wash and the Blue with their Speed Shine, but either work fine to remove Glare. There ain't nothing else like them that I've ever found.

In fact, there's a lot of good chit from Griot's Garage...their cleaners, washes, vinyl/rubber treatments, thumb operated hose nozzle...hell, I've even got their special wash bucket! I's a sickness...

Yep, found that out today when I looked at them, now labeled Kirkland. They are definitely not the same ones they carried before rebranded, they are different. They had a package open for display, they were reasonable thick and seemed ok. It was like $30 for the pack.

I bought a pack, will see how they work out.

Autogeek.net best selection of micro fiber anywhere, They have a huge selection and a lot of free shipping dates. Give them a call or check online. If you watch the TV car shows you have probably seen Max the owner, just did not realize he was the Autogeek guy. Girot has nothing on Max.

they work good just watch the big label attached to one of the corners. It's huge and may scratch the paint. I tried pulling one off and it frayed pretty badly. I liked the brighter yellow ones they had before better. These are bigger and thicker

As others have stated, Griot's is fantastic and I've also been pleased with Chemical Guys.

I have the same sickness. However, I also have some super easy to clean cars and bikes. David

it amazes me that the manufactures know what the intended use is, yet they find the need to stitch in an unneeded destructive label.
you'd figure they would have caught on to Haines and fruits, print the label with nondestructive ink right into the towel. duh.

DID NOT like the Kirkland/Costco yellow microfiber towels for finishing off a bike. They left lint. Great for apply waxes, etc, but after awhile (several washes) I would find lint on chrome and not as good picking up the residues to be wiped up.

Since Target went cheap and stopped selling the orange microfiber towels I really liked earlier this year, I have been on a quest to find a decent towel for a good price. Found this site the other day:

Their 16" x 16" 300gsm towel is virtually identical to the ones I used to get at Target. They are $8.83 a dozen so that's only $0.75 a towel and they come in 11 different colors. I ordered a bunch of the 16" x 16" as well as some of the 12" x 12" ones and some of the waffle weave ones just to see how I liked them. Got them in 3 days and I am quite impressed so far. Near as I can tell, these are the same towel Chemical Guys sell for $16/doz.

I only use micro fiber towels on my bike and I only use them on the bike one time. I will start a clean cloth on the tins and chrome and, as it gets dirtier, use them to clean the lower dirtier parts of the bike and get road crap off the wheels. When they are pretty dirty I wash them and use them for other household chores or, if they are greasy and black, I throw them away.

I have tried some of the Griots micro fiber towels as I love Griots stuff and they are great but I go through far too many to use them as my daily cleaners.

Thought I would share the new source and see if others might like them as well.

Saw a post above about lint in the micro-fiber. You can prevent this and make the towels work better than new by washing them on permanent press cycle, or gentle with cold water using quality car wash soap and the extra rinse cycle. Wash ONLY similar items (Read no cotton) and let them air-dry. I have 4 36 X 48 bound car drying micro-towels that are over 5 years old. Came from AutoGeek.com, wash them every couple uses and they work great. I can dry the Escalade with two of them, major absorbent. FYI
