I have found some new photos on a Japanese HD site.  This version should be what is also heading to Oz. No side number plate and different mufflers.

I actually prefer the look with the number plate on the rear instead of the side plate.

At first I like the black/silver but once I had seen the top of the tank was almost all chrome, I couldn't have it. The heat and reflection from the sun would be horrid as our sun is very unforgiving here for most of the year. So I have gone with the Crimson Red instead. Can't wait to get it!

Not sure who took the pictures but they are marvelous.  this is not a practical bike for me, but the more I see pics of it the warmer I'm getting.  If I actually saw one in the metal, I might have to chain myself to my bike.   Does look a mile long in the first pic, doesnt it??  Pork.

That red sure looks nice too!  I've got a black/silver one coming to me in Hawaii so I'll be sure to find out first hand about the reflection and heat from the polished tank.  I get blinded when I gaze down at the chrome center strip on my softail convertible . .  so I simply don't look down on it while riding.  After all, we're supposed to keep our eyes on the road and the pretty girls in bikinis.  The instrumentation is more forward on the tank and handle bar so I think I'd be less inclined to look directly on the polished area. I went with the black silver combo because I felt it was a classic color combo especially with the red pin striping.  My concern was that over time, some of the other color combos might be too trendy and I'd grow tired of it . . . a big concern 'cause this will likely be my last bike . . . just like my last last bike.  Wish I could see all three in the metal and then make my choice.

You will be over the moon when you see it, i did the same with my SG. ordered it 9 months in advance and not seeing the colour was nerve racking but once I set eyes on it I was gob smacked.

You hit the nail on the head mate, that Japanese spec is most prolly the EXACT bike we'll get in Oz

Those look like Heritage / Nightrain / Rocker / Custom tapered catalytic converter mufflers.

And that's for sure the number plate setup we'll get.

Indeed ALL of the HDI ( Harley'D International !) bikes will most likely be the same

Nice lookin bike.

Just heard on Saturday that ALL of the Aussie allocation are "sold" at $43K Australian, so yer now too late ...

In 3 years you'll get a used one out of Japan for way cheaper money if you can get to it before the "grey import entrepreneurs"..

Nice bike and some great photos first set i have seen showing the licence plate which look great not to sure about the mufflers ,trouble is Harley UK have no idea which set are being shipped to the UK ,are you guys down there going to keep it standard or change the mufflers ? I have one in gold coming with the hope that any sun we might have does indeed reflect up on me to at least to give me the illusion of a sunny day !!

This is most likely the international version so all bike outside the US could look like this.

As for the exhaust I'm not sure yet. Either some tried and tested S&S slipons or V&H big shot staggered. Oh plus I'm planning on putting on some apes.

Well today I've been told my bike gets shipped on the 25th January 2013. Then it takes 50 days to get from the USofA to the land of Oz. And then another 5 days from when it gets off the boat and arrives at my dealer.

So it's going to be a late march delivery for me! I just hate waiting!!!  >:(

Bretto,
Not sure if you have seen the Breakout yet but just to wet the appetite.
I lay my eyes on one at the Melbourne Bike Expo today and it looks great, you sure have a nice bike on the way.

CVO's have hit our waters early this year, I sighted a Red Breakout at the Bike Expo in Melbourne a couple of weeks ago and a Roman Gold Road Glide Custom in HH. Both Sold

Saw the Black and Silver Breakout yesterday in Frasers Perth

Pride of place at the showroom door , although sold and going 250 K's away next Friday apparently .

Responses were generally good , with the exception of the " grey" ( gray to the US dudes ) frame !

Maybe it will be less "noticeable" under 100% natural light .

Personally I had way more to like than dislike .

The Green / Gold bike will have a "black" frame , seems so in the brochure anyways.

That's a good way to look at it Dave. We get them this year! Lol

Last update I had was that mine to be shipped around the 25th of Jan then the 50+ days to get here and some more to get from Melbourne up to the Dealer.

At least it's getting closer and closer everyday.

I got the call yesterday that my bike hit the water on the 2nd of Feb. So I should get it in the last week of March! :pepper:

Plus they had a Gold one arrive yesterday and the new owner cant pick it up for 2 weeks (It has been held up due to our floods). So today I'm heading in to finally see one in the flesh!

Well got to see the gold one but it was in still in pieces. Bars, tank and seat removed.

WOW what a rear end! And those wheels are sweet!

The gold tank you could really see the swirls in the metal under the liquid gold finish. That made me glad I went with the Crimson. The swirls made it look unfinished.

Will go back in early next week and see it assembled with 14" apes.

Hey Bretto, where do you get your info from regarding arrival dates. My dealer knows very little and tells me that he thinks my bike is on a boat. >:(

The dealer should be able to give you the name of the cargo ship your bike is on , then you can track it on "Marine traffic " website - just google your ship name details - go to Marine traffic site .
Mine was 2 weeks after docking in Melbourne , Unload , custom's , then road transport was 2 weeks .  :2vrolijk_21:

Thanks Dave, my dealer (Morgan & Wacker HD) can't answer the question. The salesman said that he thinks it's on a boat but cannot confirm. Pathetic. Have even tried to find out by contacting HD head office in Lane Cove Sydney. They cannot answer the question either. I ordered mine on the 24th August and am happy to wait but it would be nice to know the bikes status. Thanks for replying Dave.

Hey CVOSE BREAKOUT,

If you dealer has been given a VIN # then they will be getting updates. Once your bike is placed in shipping they are told the Vessel name.

M&W are a big dealer so the Salesman might no be told much. Tell him to talk to their stock controller get you your Vessel name. But I warn you it is an evil thing watching the ship sitting in dock then doing only 18knots day after day, week after week!!

Dave H,

You bike would have been held up due to the Floods as it should only take 5 days from Dock to Dealer.

Ok cheers, I'll talk to the stock controller on Monday and see how I go. I know what you mean regarding vessel monitoring, so it's probably not a bad thing not knowing earlier.  ::)

Well f#@king great news! My CVO Breakout and some others, well actually a container full has been sitting on the dock in Melbourne for the last week doing SFA! Due to some issue with customs or the freight company the container hasn't yet made it to the HD Distribution Centre (CAT).

So instead of talking delivery on Wednesday when I get home from work, I'll now be lucky if it gets to the dealer by end of next week!

Patience grasshopper. A week and a half will totally suck balls, but at least you know its in country. I suggest drinking heavily to pass the time. Nevermind, that might make it worse. lol
