Will be installing the 2 into 1 on the Breakout tomorrow.  Mine has the small bungs and reports are that they will work just fine.  I'll know tomorrow!

Please post pics of the install!  I'd love to see how close everything is and how the pipes and sensors look and where they are located compared to stock.

There is absolutely no reason why these pipes are on the "Not Recommended" list by Vance and Hines.  They fit perfect and the 02 sensors are in the same location as stock.  These pipes are not as close to oil lines and electrical lines as the stock pipes, therefore no issue with melting lines.  By the way, these pipes have 12mm bungs, no adapters needed.  TTS and Dyno set for Wed.

I was originally wanting to go with BR 2-1 since you get more hp from 2-1. Got tired of listening to BS from V/H. Definitely happy with the Bassani RR 2-1. Doesn't have the same look as the curved pipes but has a great rumble to it.

aaargh, this is killing me.  I love the sound and the power with the 2-1.  that was my choice for 5 years on my prior bike....I was asked many times if it was a custom exhaust because very few folks have these.

The 2-2 are ubiquitous....they are everywhere, but damn I love the look on my Breakout and how they dip in front of the rear wheel and don't cover any of it up.....

I may have to have an "early Summer" exhaust and a  "late Summer" exhaust and change them out a couple of times a year  ;D

Cowboy, you have a fabulous exhaust that has a rumble low enough to easily set off car alarms.  Mine used to do that just idling down the street!

The 2 into 1 pipes really do sound good.  They have a great tone and are not overbearing.  The Drago's on my FLHXSE3 are border line too loud.

I'm use to owning rare vehicles that take longer for parts, but this is getting ridiculous and I'm tired of waiting so I may just order the non-Breakout version...

Here's a little update for those still wondering.  I got a little impatient last week and ordered the non-Breakout pipes for my bike. I installed them and I can tell you for certain, if you're half as anal I am, THESE PIPES DO NOT FIT! They will mount up to the bike just fine, but they do not line up correctly and look like chit. How people are saying they fit perfect is beyond me... :nixweiss:

Luckily, I forgot to cancel my original back order on the Breakout version and they arrived unexpectedly the next day.  Needless to say I switched out the pipes and the fitment is big improvement.

These are the correct pipes.
