way back in 2010 can anyone remember a stageV? was told it was done back then. the bike i am looking at is a flhtcuse5 and owner says stage 5 installed.

IIRC...Stage V was just supposed to be their "Tire Shredder Kit", but have since gone back to calling it a Stage IV, (I believe)

I don't remember ever seeing a Stage V kit from Harley. I went back and looked in the 2009/2010/2011 SE catalogs and there is nothing listed as a Stage V. Ask the owner for some documentation, perhaps he bought one of the race kits Harley was selling that didn't carry an official Stage moniker. One such kit was called the "Screamin’ Eagle PRO Race Kit – 110 Cubic Inches" for instance. :nixweiss:

One of the early SEPST off road only tuning systems. I'm attaching a shot of the catalog entry for the A revision level of the part, the B revision followed soon after. This doesn't tell you what other components were installed, the SEPST could be purchased separately or was included in some of the "race" kits Harley sold at the time.

i remember the same thing. not much info on the web, but did find this: https://www.hotbikeweb.com/screamin-eagle-bolt-on-110-stage-v-tire-shredder-kit-install
and this is from the el cajon hd web site:
but yeah, really, it's all marketing. lets call a stage 4 a stage 6 because we added a chrome oil filter, and a chrome hardware kit :-\
