What is out there in the way of putting a CB unit in a streetglide?

I went with the MoCo's unit...it's small and integrated well...utilized J&M's internal antennas and when I return I'll probably go with their blutooth headsets and dongle to integrate it, the GPS, and Phone all wirelessly. They are the only ones that I've found so far that allow integration of the CB wirelessly. There are plenty of threads here...I've probably started a third of them looking for answers like you...just do a search for CB and / or wireless and you should find plenty.

Send TIF2 a PM; he's working on overcoming the wiring issue HD created by not making the fairing/interconnect harness on the SESG2 compatible with the non-Ultra overlay harness (NUOH) other bikes would use for adding CB.  Bascially, you need to add the 6B connector to provide power and ground to the NUOH for the CB module.

Also, consider the Boom Audio Music & Intercom kit, p/n 77108-09A, which will include the left side handlebar controls (including the PTT/squelch switch) and harness; rider and passenger headset connections, and passenger PTT/vol. controls.  The kit will allow you to retain the unique SESG2 tank console.  Here's the thread from my installation; since your bike is a '11, the mods I made for installation on my '04 won't apply, but you'll get the gist of the installation:

HD parts will be about $900 plus antenna and headset(s).

I'm so glad HD decided to change the harness by leaving out 1 connector so that we all have to go through all this trouble to add stuff :sauer055: :sauer055:
