Easy enough to buy a Veyron using Paypal.  As long as you have a Paypal account, of course.

http://www.unifymall.com/paypal/unify-bugatti-veyron-alloy-model-car-136-p-2282.html

If anybody wants to buy me one of these, am ok with the idea, but no way will I drive it home.

Paypal lays off 325, $15 mil cost.

http://gigaom.com/2012/10/29/paypals-reorganization-costs-325-layoffs-15-million/

Looks like a Paypal version of their own fiscal cliff.

Thanks for the input...

Based on this on this new info I have made an Exexutive decision and decided to no longer donate my winnings to the United Way...

I've decided to use the winnings to create my own donation distiribution service called Murphy's Money Mart...

Already have got "Tripple M" advertising stuff in the works... brainstorming on the .com angle as we speak....

There are about 325 former employees who are probably out looking for jobs with experience in money laundering donatable donations if you are looking for any assistance. I think the layoffs were caused by some internetian money spender/collectors who for some reason just refuse to use Paypal.   :nixweiss:

Best of luck on your future Triple M endeavors.      :2vrolijk_21:

Other than being a fellow EBCM & occasionally riding a road with 2 lanes, no.  As far as I know.

I dunno.  I wander about here in a semi-bored daze amok at times, but have never been formally introduced bumped into the Drama Queen.  Not sure what proper board ettiquette is for femalian board royalty either.  Not gonna curtsey unless I get that Veyron though.

Too long to post an internetian story that reminds me of stuff - used to be moderately moderate enough to be an "m" word myself - back in the days when dinosaurs roamed the internet & there was a poster who vexed me sorely at times who went went by the handle "internetto" in an internet galaxy long ago & far, far away.....

Around $3880 a month or so for insurance, depending on the driving record & maybe a safe driver course discount.   8)

Routine yearly maintenance is only $21k.  Tire life is about 2500 miles & they run $31k a set. Every 10k miles the cost for a new set of wheels is about $50k.  In CA (or a state that requires autos to pay property tax) the taxes run about $50k a year.  Am not sure how much of that could be paid on Paypal, but probably most of it could be worked out, except for the taxes, due to some governments being sorta provincial about the way they collect their tax monies by giving preference to certain semi-antiquated methods.

Trial was delayed unexpectedly acording to this:
http://autos.yahoo.com/blogs/motoramic/insurance-trial-delayed-lagoon-crash-1-million-bugatti-153312889.html

His using the "low flying pelican" defense is understandable, when you consider the generally bad rap that pelicans get for their habit of being very low flyers.  Except there are no pelicans in the video, which could mean that he just thought he saw a pelican, or that his entire story is a huge crock of bullchit & he realized after 2,000 miles he would start having major maintenance bills so he decided to give his ride an unholy saltwater baptism to scam his insurance company.

Also mentions in your link that the guy drove the car to bike rallies.  There is a lesson here for all of us.  Not really sure what that is though.  But there has to be one somewhere, otherwise this thread appears to be wandering aimlessly, without any pie or bacon or boob redeeming factors even.

I bought a pelican using PayPal once, it was stuffed, not one of those low flying ones you speak of so I was disappointed... I contacted the woman I bought it from and she was very understanding, she told me that if I shipped it back to her at my own expense, she would credit my Paypal account at no extra cost to me.

Nice lady!

;D Only one of the many conveniences using PP offers it's users!  Watching low flying pelicans splat landing then trying to swallow a fish larger than they are able to easily eat is a past time - not so much here by the pool - usually when sitting enjoying a frosty cold beverage near the ocean & now hoping maybe some doofus driving his million dollar car will drive it into the water.....

Dues are only $25 a year.  Not sure if they take Paypal?  They also have thumbs on their hind feet.  The possums that is, not the society members.

PETA kills Possum Drop tradition at Possum Capital.  Not sure what happened to the possums after the drop...

Bugatti might consider sponsoring this event?   :nixweiss:

Jay Leno is 5'-11" and owns one although if you can believe what you see on TV he prefers his custom made 1,000 HP Olds Tornado

Hey Chip,

How about starting a fund raiser next year to buy one of these for me!

 :2vrolijk_21:

http://www.bugatti.com/en/veyron-16.4.html

:) that is one mighty fast VW
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bugatti_Veyron#Specifications

BBC "Top Gear" has done a few segments on the Veyron

I would suggest you probably will need a Living Trust for one.
A Set of Tyres are $25,000 +/-
At Speed they are good for around 35 miles

But Oh what a ride it would be for those 35 miles.
