Well I called the number that I had found for Vanlark this morning and it is disconnected and no longer in service. I will just try to get some of the road rub from the link that SDCVO provided.

After you get and try let me know what you think. I was afraid they didn't make anymore so I got 5 of them a few months ago. Seems like I am always getting cr-- on my pipes.

I would not use steel wool. This type of job needs a solvent with out abrasives. So far I have been able to get my small marks off with a chrome polish but is takes a lot of work.

Tried clay bar and detailer yesterday while waiting on some other stuff. It will take the black off and makes chrome look amazingly shiny/clean. But it takes awhile. On a seperate note, clay bar will do a wonderful job cleaning and removing road stuff from plastic headlamps and makes windshield clean clean and smooth, all kinds of crap sticks to headlamps and windshield on your car/truck.
