Jimp, wow, the timing is perfect on this post.  I have been considering what to do exhaust-wise on my bike and these were one of the finalists.  I rode a strong-running 95" Ultra with these mufflers for about 50 miles and in just that short amount of time noticed the reverberation/drone that you speak of.  I wondered then how well that would stand the test of time.

Its feels like someone beating you in the back of the neck, its sucks on the hwy.

It's easy enough to fix, replace the SE II baffles with the Kerker/Mikuni P.A.T. performance baffles.  They drop right in & out perform the Rineharts on a dyno.
