James Churchill Glove Company in Centralia, WA

(1/1)

DarkEagle:
several years ago looking for a good pair of motorcycle gloves made in the USA, & learned about the James Churchill Glove Company, one of the oldest businesses in Centralia, WA founded in 1890 & still manufacturing gloves here locally to this day.

The gloves I got are the same classic style worn by Arnold Schwarzenegger in Terminator 3, lol… Anyway, lost one on one of my little walks, checked with them to replace it, & they did at half the cost of a full set. Mine also are lined with the Thinsulate & Sympatex insulation.

Why I share this is, when I 1st bought these gloves they were pretty busy, but sales have slowed down a lot, plus their employees diminishing in age & retirements.  It would be amazing if the current generation of the Churchill family can keep this company going on sales & local employment for this area.

If you or anyone you know needs a nice pair of USA made leather gloves for riding, farming, bull riding, etc… they are worth the cost for the historical & economic impact they’ve had with our country, you can even make arrangements for a little tour of their place, it is very special experience to walk the floors of where they do every part of the production in making their gloves. Also, not sure what they can afford to pay in wages, but as they lose their senior staff, they also lose the skill & craft of the trade.

HOGMIKE:
I’ve been using those gloves for about 20 years or so.
Have one pair unlined, one pair insulated. Best gloves IMHO!

Using HD mesh gloves for the summer.
