I have a 2016 streetglide that has no other modification other than what Harley built into it. I bought it at 495 miles. And from the beginning there was noice that sounded a little like piston slap. I have a mechanic that it about the best guy for Harleys in my area. And when I say that, it's not because I'm easy to please. I won't take them to the dealer unless there is no other option. I've never had this bike break. Other than the shift linkage fell apart at the pedal when out on the road. And I've made some pretty good rides on it. The guy I'm talking about went through it and pronounced that it isn't something to worry about. And he'd take it to New York today without hesitation. So, I've been riding it since. My only other issue is the the fobs stopped being recognized. But that happened when it was in the garage. So again, I stopped worrying too much about it and have been riding since. I suppose if it breaks, then I'll be on here complaining about it.
