I've heard and seen lots about the silver, nothing about the yellow and only a little about the orange. What colour 09 SERG do other owners have in their garage?

Orange peel on paint looks like the skin of an orange with small round indents throughout the paint. It is not like you can feel the orange peel on the paint but it is visable if you look closely at it.

Actually, he and I have been laying cat and mouse..I've got this tendancy to ride 70-80 on the trip from the red light to the house, if I see him on the other side of town. Caught them bring a second officer in to try and catch me. It almost worked, but it didn't. I got behind a combine that was wider than the road, so I went by him at 15 MPH

Deposit in on my new O/B, Supposed to ship Nov 1st... but no Vin #yet so I am soooo anxious. Sold my '00 O/B Beauty so first time in years I am withotu my CVO. OK shes home! Picked her up Dec 31st, had to trailer home due to snow and sleet bewteen home & Bend OR dealer. Gave a weekend in garage to trim it out to a Ultra Glide status.

I have to admit, having gotten over the rush of seeing a new SERG in particular and of course the Orange/Black which I love, I am really starting to like the Silver/Black ones. They are truly classy looking while still having a real hotrod feel as well. Kinda like a Chip Foose custom. I'm wondering if I'd be happier with the Silver / Black 3 or 4 years down the road than the Orange/Black. Sorry, no offense to you Yellow guys it's just not the shade of yellow I like. For me, if it's gotta be yellow, it's gotta be Ferarri or Corvette yellow.

Just my $0.02 as usual.

When I first saw the O/B I thought that was the one i wanted. The dealer had the silver on the way that was available, or an O/B MAYBE available. I took the silver , a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush sort of thing. Now I love the silver. The O/B is still great but in 3 - 4 years.....well hard to say. All colours are Great

Well Chit, looks like the stealer put my name on the first O/B they have coming and seem to have lost the numbers of the other guys interested in the bike.

Most likely I'll bite the bullet and get it even though it is coming in December and that for us is just another time to store the fourth CVO.

My fatboy was the silver/black Anny. I love the color. However, with 100 miles on the Fatboy I put the real fire anny tins on the bike. The stock tins are on display in my rec room with out a scratch.

That just seems to help reasure me I made the right choice with the deposit on the silver SERG

So, I just flaked out on the SERG.

I'm feeling a bit chitty right now about it, but it's the best decision for me right now.

I haven't had to lay anyone off here (yet) but the way things "feel" right now that time may be coming. If folks would relax a bit and go about business as normal without listening to the blowhards on the airwaves things might be a bit better.

Unfortunately with the stock market in turmoil and more jobs being lost as well as the car industry in the tank, I felt discretion was the better part of valor.

I guess I'll have to suffer along with the three bikes I have and hope the 2010 SERG gets the anticipated upgrades that the second year models often do.

Anyway, don't be expecting pics of the new ride in December as previously posted.

I agree that its the little modifications that make the bike unique. Your stainless steel hardware/fastener upgrade is a good example as well as the molded rear license plate bracket.

Your SERG is beautiful! Gardener Westcott has released the fastener kit for the 09's. Mine should be here this week along with my tour pak. I love that curved bracket but am hesitant (chicken?) to drill the fender. I also did a stereo with a Titan amp and Polk Audio marine speakers that is killer and a lot less that Hawg Tunes ($480 v. $825). When I get some time I'll do a new post on it because it seems like a great deal from what I've seen...

They had a silver one come through in October-that they gave me first rights on it but I passed because I was set on a yellow one that they had coming in April. After the silver one was sold I got wind of the price increase and thought I had royally f@#&*d up in passing up on the silver which was a beauty . The dealer here was able to find me a yellow one in Saskatoon that had a deal fall through so they traded for it ---so I got my bike in November at the old price.

I'm still waiting on my SERG... Feb/Mar I'm told... I was afraid the price was going to go up before it came in. Since I'm in the US, I guess I shouldn't have to worry so much... hopefully...

Yea, I really wanted the O/B but HD of Edmonton said they wouldn't be getting one until May 09 "maybe". They did have the silver one that I picked up in October. Sure glad I did, the new price is about $4,500 more and yes they did mention a second price increase in the spring.

Finally I got the ship date for the Silver SERG I have had a deposit on since the begining of August.

I finally saw an orange SERG today. With all the hype about the color I expected more. Is it just me isn't it more of a "Home Depot Orange"?

We need to take this poll down. I bought Electric Orange b/c I thought it would be the least popular. From this poll, one of two things happened - all the orange ones have been sold and only the slower yellow and silver are left, or we orange owners are the most proud and have all replied to the poll. Even our emoticons are orange....
