So, where does one find this kind of information?

I'm not a fan of H-D lubricants anyway, in case that wasn't clear. This seals the deal for me.

Oh, well...

All I can really say is I have close friend and he works in Milwaukee. "wink"
I have had the list for a couple years now. So some may of changed.
But I do know Citgo is still making the oil products.
I have seen similar lists through the years at various web sites also.
I don't want to start a "Which oil is best" or get off topic with this.
But this is what I have run is all my bikes with no problems.  http://www.bradpennracing.com/Products/SAE20W50.html
Good O American made oil. I use the racing oil not there motorcycle oil by the way.
If you look at the specs, the 20w50 racing oil has a higher HTHS. That's why I use it instead of the MC version. The HTHS of the 20w50 racing oil is 6.2, which is the highest HTHS vis of any 20w50 I've ever seen. It even bests Amsoil's 20w50 motor cycle oil which has a HTHS of 6.02. The HTHS for the Penn Grade 1 20w50 MC oil is 5.7.

HTHS = High-Temperature High-Shear
Low HTLS would give better efficiency or MPG. High HTLS gives more durability.

I didn't see where to purchase this, the website is vague as how to purchase, do we need to find a local dealer?

You can email them and ask who sells it near you.
Or you can get it on line here www.theoilwarehouse.com

Well since I knew you put a Fat Cat on your 09, I'm curious what the Boss addresses the Fat Cat / Boarzilla doesn't. Is the Boss set up different to use a different "ghost" pipe that runs under the bike like the stock exhaust?  :confused5:

Hey Al,

In anticipation of the arrival of my 09 SERG in June I've been searching our site to come up with a suitable exhaust system. So far I'm not sold on any of the systems described.  Today I rode over to my local H-D dealer and asked the head mechanic what he recommended.  Without any hesitation he said D&D Boss.  He said they look great but more important they're easy to work with (read easy to tune).  As luck would have it there was a Road King in for it's 10K mile service and it had the two into one D&D Boss installed.  He cranked it up and I was pleased.  I've been running Thunderheaders on my 08 Screamin' Eagle Road King and love the sound; these pipes were comperable in sound quality plus they came with either a 4" straight cut or bologna cut muffler outlet.  I was sold -- almost.  I'd like to know if anyone else has considered the D&D Boss and if so what was your final assessment?  The web sit is: www.danddexhaust.com/catalog/2009/02/54931g.htm#specs  I had trouble accessing it on line with this site so just googled danddexhaust catalog and when it came up clicked on Harley Davidson and it took me right to the site.  Don't ask me why but I couldn't access it directly.
Comments please.

I have the D&D Boss FatCat on order right now.  I got them through www.hdpipes.com and he blew everyone else out of the water with his price.  Once you start reading some threads on this site, you will see that these are the most recommended pipe there is.  For 2009, the Boss is the FatCat.  It's the Boss FatCat.

I spoke to D&D and was told that it is now the Boss FatCat.  The Boarzilla is different and for larger displacement, heavily built up motors.  They told me the Boss FatCat is the one I want, with only intake and exhaust changes.

Thanks for that. I got my Fat Cats from Eric also. They were just FC then! Strange to rename such a popular product.

I agree.  If you read down through this page from their site, they refer to it several times at Boss Fat Cat 2 into 1.  http://www.danddexhaust.com/news/2009/02/_ghost_pipe_ins.htm
