Cool! Boss Bags look like their 34LB model should fit. I've got the stock pipes, and they're higher than most of the pipes pictured on bikes on this site.

I like the bags on txfatboy's bike. Who made those? They kind of look like the Boss Bags, but they're cleaner than the 34's pictured on the Boss Bags site (no center logo, different clasps).

I put a tinted, compact windshield on mine--enough to break the wind, but not look ovesized. Not sure if I outsmarted myself. I'm 6'4", and this windshield gets the blast off my chest, but does nothing for my head.

The bags I have are Harley bags purchased in 2001.  They are from my previous fatboy.  Not sure if they are still offering those bags or not.

Just got back from Sturgis.   Some great riding.

Here are some pix of my bags which I've had for about 5 months now and feel they are the best thing since sliced bread.
They are boss bags and look great on and off the bike.   They disconnect in seconds.

I also put on some small front lights and guess I didn't realize how unique they were until I got so many comments
from people out at Sturgis.   I installed them low on my forks.

Here's a picture with the bags off.   You can also see the motolights on the front forks in this picture.

Everything you need comes with the bags when purchased.   They do use barebacks (which are special to the boss bags) and you can buy covers for the barebacks which look great when the bags are off.

But other than the bareback covers, all else is included.   Just make sure you tell them that you have the '06 Screamin' Eagle Fat Boy when ordering.

I still haven't gone forward with the soft bags, but here's new photos of my bike with a compact tinted windshield, a Corbin Gunfighter seat, and (not shown) a heal-toe shifter. I've attached a couple of pictures.

The seat is great! Fits me like a glove, and the backrest really helps. The seat peg socket on the stock seat is to the rear-most position, but the Corbin wants the middle position. The middle position is already pre-drilled by Harley, but does not have a threaded socket. I got a spare threaded socket from Harley, and thought I'd have to remove the rear fender to get it in the hole. Turns out, it was easy to tape the socket to a wire coat hanger, snake it up, and pop it into place....

I am much happier with the heal-toe shifter. Smoother shifts, and easier to find neutral.

Whoa! Apologies. I was going to post another picture, but the last one is huge even though I made it a low resolution jpeg before posting it. Not sure how to resize these appropriately.
