Isn't it a requirement by NHRA (some classes) that bike riders wear chest protectors? Not saying this didn't hurt, but if he had chest protection the injuries should be minimal to his chest.

It looked to me like it took the hand right off.  I let my kids watch it...   I bet they don't rev the lawnmower up too bad for the next week or so.........

Of course the youngest mentioned ..  "  aren't your pistons right up under your...  oh dad, mom won't like that at all"
